“I think I am right when I say that there is a good measure of respect for the law in this district, in that the statistical returns show less crime and fewer breaches of the criminal law in Wanganui than is to be found in any other town of a similar size in New Zealand,” said Senior-Sergeant F. Cuiloty. at a farewell gath ring to Mr J. 11. Salmon, SAI., who is retiring.
