British Music Society Junior Group
The monthly meeting of the Junior Group of the B.M.S. was held recently in the Assembly Hall of the Girls' College. The following members contributed items:—Pianoforte solos, Valerie Cook (Coronach, Barra Lt), Jean Tasker (Nocturne, Chopin). Marian Con--1 lan (Ist Movement, Moonlight SonataJosephine Morgan (waltz, Chopin), Margaret Nicol (Minuetto, Beethoven), Grace Richards (Au Matin, Godard). Elaine Rapson (valse, Chopin), Louvain ne Jenkins (To the Spring, Greig). Violin soloists were Noeline Grace, who played Loure (Bach) and Grant Millar (Chanson Sans Paroles). Ji'.l Hutchinson sang, as did Beverley Rosier Beverley Millward sang and played her own composition. This was tne ' surprise” item.” The next meeting will be held on the last Saturday in May.
