Castlecliff Golf Club; Four-Ball Matches Played
High class golf was featured in the senior and junior four-ball best-ball played at the Castlecliff links last Saturday. Leading scores were:— Leo Whetton and A. Climo 8 up, F. W. Sweney and R. O. Foster 6 up, J. F. Rowe anj C. H. Whetton 5 up, L. T. Thomas and F. J. Currie 3 up, I. R. Brown and I. C. Corby 2 up, S. I. Edinger and H. Russell 1 up, and F. Wood and C. H. Taylor all square. Because of the Wanganui Castlecliff inter-club match this Saturday there will be no weekly club matches and players who are to play the second round of the Power Cup will noje that a further week will be allowed for the completion of these games.
