Some people dislike lipstick, but it makes a good impression. TAKE HOME PAY. Recently the Judge of the Arbitration Court made reference to the “take home pay," which is what you have left after paying Walter Nash what he collects before you see the pay at all. and what you must put bv to pay him at the end of the year in income tax, some of it levied on what you haven't actually received. Recently a chap we know was asked how much of his pay ho took home to his wife. “None of it." he replied "She meets me outside and takes home the lot herself. The rest Is Walter's.” TO CORRESPONDENTS. "Shearing Tallies": Your attention is directed to a short article on this subject published on page 7.
