U.S. House Passes Vote For The Armed Services
WASHINGTON, Last Night (Rec. 8 »m).—The House passed a Bill to give the armed services a record post-war amount of nearly 16,000,000,000 dollars to spend in the financial year ending June 30. The House refused, however, to add an extra 300,000,000 dollars for the Navy and Air Force.
