WANGANUI CROWDED FOREASTER HOLIDAYS
A large crowd of visitors is al present in Wanganui for the Easter holidays, and it was reported yesterday that accommodation was difficult to obtain in the city. The majority of the visitors are the old boys and friends of the Wanganui Collegiate School, who have come for the annual Easter reunion. A numbtrof the visitors are patronising the motor camps at Aramoho Park and Castlecliff. Road traffic, both to and from Wanganui on Thursday was heavy. Heavy road motor service and rail traffic was recorded, particularly on Thursday night after the closing of the shops. Extra buses and trains were required on Thursday and Friday and bookings are still heavy. The Wanganui shopping area was crowded on Thursday, and shops, especially those dealing in provisions, had an extremely busy time.
