TEAMS ENTERED IN THE WANGANUI UNION’S 1949 COMPETITIONS
Fifty-one teams have entered in the Wanganui Rugby Union’s 1949 grade championships. Six teams will participate in the t . senior grade. have been . entered in the junior grade, seven in _ (he third grade and nine in the fourth grade. 3 Entries in the fifth, sixth and seventh grades are eight, five and nine j respectively. , The following are the teams entered in each grade:— Senior (6). Kaierau. Pirates, Wanganui and Old ? Boys, Tech. Old Boys, Marist, Waver--1 ley. 1 Junior (7). Kaierau A, Kaierau B, Pirates, Wanganui and Old Boys, Tech. Old ’ Boys, Marist, Waverley ( Thirds (7) f Kaierau, Pirates, Tech Old Boys, | Marist, Waverley, Collegiate School A, Technical College • Fourths (9) Kaierau, Pirates, Tech. Old Boys, Marist, Woverley, Collegiate School A, Collegiate School B, Technical College, St. Augustine's High School. Fifths (3). Kaierau, Pirates, Marist, College A, Technical College B. (Nat available until after school holidays). Sixths (5). Collegiate School A, Collegiate School B, Technical College A, Technical College B, St. Augustine’s High School. Sevenths (9). Collegiate School A, Collegiate School B, Technical College A, Technical College B, St. Augustine s High School, Intermediate School A, Intermediate School B, Intermediate School C, St. George s School. The Collegiate School teams and grounds will not be available until May 28. Technical College third grade team will be available on April 23 and 30, and then from May 28 onwards. All other grades of the Technical College will not be available until May 28. The Technical College grounds will be available from April 23.
