WASHINGTON, April 12 (Rec. 7.40 p.m.)—The United States and Canada today established a joint committee to co-ordinate their plans for industrial mobilisation in the event of emergency. The committee will exchange information and make recommendations for such co-ordination. It will also be responsible for co-operation with the existing permanent joint board on defence in industrial mobilisation matters.
