Psychologists Try To Discover Why R.A.F. Men Are "Browned Off”
LONDON, Feb. 22 (Reed. 6pm).— Air Ministry psychologists have been carrying out. a full-scale inquiry into the state of Royal Air Force morale, says the “Daily Express.” The report, which was ordered eight months ago, following reports of a serious decline in efficiency and discipline in R.A.F. units, will he presented to Cabinet shortly. The recommendations are believed to include increases in pay and allowances, improvements in accommodation, and an increase in the number
of operational exercises. A team of psychologists interviewed [hundreds of men to discover why they were “browned off ” and asked I the wives of officers and men living in station quarters their opinion of R.A.F. life.
