CLEARING SALE AT KIWITEA

Daljfety and Company Ltd. (Inc. in England' report having held a highly success!ijL sale on account of Mr. Trevor Still. Kimbolton Road. Kiwitea, on Wednesday. January 26. There was a particularly large attendance of buyers from the Taranaki, Wanganui, Wairarapa, Rangitlkei and Manawatu districts, who were keenly interested in the sale of the breeding flock, registered Romney and Southdown flocks, implements, etc. The sale opened on the breeding flock which were an attractively-bred line in good condition, shorn middle October. These sold under animated competition. 2-th. ewes realised 48/6. 4-th. 50/6. 6-th. 53/- which were purchased to go to Taranaki. The 4-year and 5-year old ewes realised 37/- and the ewe lambs 42 z 6. The registered Romney and Southdown sheep which have been farmed as a commercial flock, also commanded steady competition, the Romney owes selling to 4A guineas, ram lambs to S guineas. Southdown ewes sold to 4 guineas, ewe lambs to 4] guineas. Implements and sundries also met with a particularly keen demand at highly satisfactory prices.
