N PLYMOUTH Last Night (P A.) —The following officers were elected at the annual conference of the Gas Institute of New Zealand, which concluded at Hawera today: President, Mr A. C. Kennerley (Levin); vicepresident, Mr. J. W. Atkinson (Wanganui); secretary-treasurer, Mr. E. F. Gorman (Christchurch); council, Messrs. A. Blackman (Hawera), F. M. Kennedy (New Plymouth), and C I. Didson (Nelson).
