Suburbs caused quit e a sensation in Rangitikei club cricket on Saturday by putting on 273 runs for six wickets against O.d Boys before applying the closure at 5.5 p.m. Chief scorer was J. Tutaenui Sports Next Saturday

The Tutaenui Sports Club will hold their third annual sports meeting on Saturday, January 22, on the property of Mr. K. McK. Duncan, “Flockhart,” Cliff Road, Marton. The programme of events will commence at 10 a.m. and includes classes for ponies, hack, jumping, childrens races adult races, nail driving, chain stepping, sheaf tossing, etc Light refreshments and lunch will bo obtainable on the grounds at a small charge, and free hot water will be available. The day’s activities will be concluded with a dance in the evening in the Upper Tutaenui Hall.
