TASKS THEY ARE TO BE ALOTTED TO Seven men from the party of immigrants who arrived on the Mataroa will be coming to the Wanganui district
A welder will go to Marton, a forest ranger wifi take service with the Government at Ohakune, a fitter will go to the Patea Freezing Works, while, a toolmaker and a motor mechanic will go to the Eastown Workshops. A joiner will find employment in a Wanganui furniture factory. Ten young women are also coming to the district, seven of whom will find employment m hote. and hostels, two will join a footwear factory and one a clothing factory. Six young women will arrive by the Atlantis, one of whom will go to a hotel at Hunterville. one to a clothing factory, and four to hotels and hostels.
