Valuable Kit Of Tools Taken From Car
Early yesterday morning an irreplaceable and uninsured kit of tools was taken from a car in a garage at Kawakawa Street, Wanganui East. The tool kit was the property of Mr. A. Chapman, motor garage foreman. Judging by noises heard by neighbours during the night, it is thought that entry to the locked garage was gained about 1 a.m.. about two and a-half hours after’ the car was last used. A container of petrol and hydraulic jacks which were also in the car were not touched.
