Remuera Vicar Retires After Long Service
AUCKLAND. Last Night (PA). His retirement as vicar of St. Mark’s. Remuera. a post he has occuiped for nearly 17 years, has been announced by Archdeacon P. Houghton, the first Archdeacon of Waitemata. The retirement, which was announced following Archdeacon Houghton’s 70th, birthday last Friday, becomes effective next April. No successor has vet been selected
