Bonuses Declared By N.Z. Loan And Mercantile Agency Co.
WELLINGTON, Last Night >PA>. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, lips been advised by its London office that the annual general meeting will bheld on December 31, when the board will recommend tho following dividends:- Two and a-half per cent, final dividend on 5 per cent, cumulative preference stock, and 6 per cent, plus a bonus of 2 per cent, on ordinary stock. Both are subject to the deduction of 9s in the £1 for English income tax.
The transfer books of the New Zealand branch register will close from December IS to December 31. end it is proposed to issue dividend warrants on January 1, 1949.
