Flight Of Political Refugees From Hungary

LONDON. Nov. 29 (Rec. 8.5 pm).— The flight of political refugees from Hungary has reached 1000 a month, says the Vienna correspondent of the ‘Daily Telegraph.” The bulk of the new arrivals are artisans and peasants. in contrast, with earlier refugees, who were mainly of the upper classes. About 300 report monthly to lhe British authorities in Syria and, after screening, are sent to a displaced persons’ camp. The remainder move straight across Austria to the American and French zones.
