Capital Equipment For Britain Under Marshall Aid Plan
LONDON, Nov 29 (Rec. 8.35 pm). —The “Daily Herald” reports that 2500 British manufacturers may expect to receive, before the end of March. 1949. deliveries of industrial machinery equipment valued at £24,000.000. which will be the first important capital equipment provided by Marshall Aid under the European Recovery Programme. Deliveries will include constructional and mining equipment, turbines. generators, machine tools and textile machinery.
