British War Minister Howled Down At Liverpool

LONDON, Nov. 29 (Recd. 8.20 pm).—Cries of “Warmonger” and “Send ourlads back from Malaya” interrupted the War Minister, Mr. Shinwell, as he was making a speech at Liverpool. The, Minister was unable to get a hearing.
The “Dai y Express” says that Communists organised the interruptions. Mr. Shin well shouted: “I have come to give Lord Woolton and his Tories a good kick in the pants. This disunity stops me from doing it.” The Minister said he would take on the interrupters in batches of six ami “beat you before breakfast,” but th< hubbub wenf: on.
