Hall Queen Carnival; Positions Of The Princesses On Ladder
A further change took place yesterday in the positions of the princesses in the Wanganui Scots Memorial Hall queen carnival, the Southern Princess (Miss Isla Glasgow) advancing to second place very close to the City Princess (Miss Shirley Smith). As at 4 p.m. yesterday, the honorary secretary, Mr. L. McMillan, disclosed that the positions were:—
City (Miss Shirley Smith) 1 Southern (Miss Isla Glasgow) 2 Eastern (Miss Shirley Gibbs) 3 Northern (Miss Judith Collier) 4
