Auckland Trials For Sanders Cup And Idle Along Boats
AUCKLAND: I.ast Night (PA).— The third Sanders Cud yachting trial off Westhaven on Saturday afternoon was won by J. Taylor’s Vivid. The winner of the second trial. Desire, was second and Bettina, present holder of the Sanders Cup, was third. White Heather, winner of the first trial, was fouled at the start of the race, but a protest is not likely. The boat to represent Auckland in the Idle Along contest will be Ono, which has won three out of the four races. Winning the seventh and eighth races of the Cornwell Cun trials, W. Ross and R. Gadsbv will represent Auckland in the national contest in January.
