Another Good Win For Pick worth, The Australian Golfer
. SYDNEY. Nov. 27 (Rec. 8 pm).— The Australian open and professional champion, H. Pickworth, played two brilliant fighting rounds to win his third successive £lOOO golf tournament by five strokes. His total was 293 for 72 holes Nagle was second, with 298, R. Grant third with 300, and N. von Nida and W. McWilliam fourth equal with 301. Von Nida was joint leader wit* Nagle at the beginning of the final day’s play, but crashed badly with rounds of 76 and 79. Pickworth returned a brilliant two under par 70 and moved into second place one stroke behind Nagle at the beginning of the last round. Nagle started well, but finished badly with 79.
