China Badly Needs American Leader Like MacArthur
SHANGHAI. Nov. 27 (Rec 6 pm).— Doctor Sun Fo, the new Premier of China, told a United Press correspondent that China needs some outstanding American military figure, such as General MacArthur, to advise the nationalists in their war against the Communists. Mr. Sun Fo, who is a son of Doctor Sun-Yat-Sen, founder of the Chinese Republic, said he believed an American should be appointed supreme military adviser, with full power. Dr. Sun Fo declared that China must prepare to make any reasonable concession to obtain American military assistance at the earliest possible moment. A Washington message says offi-
