300 Cattle Offered At Fordell Stock Sale
To a fair attendance of buyers the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., offered 300 head of cattle at. the Fcrdell sale on Tuesday. The main line comprised 68 4 and 5-year iro.' h conditioned P-A. bullocks, offered on account of Mr. H. C. Addenbrooke, Mangamahu. These cattle were sold to a Maxwell buyer at £lB, and they were strongly competed fcl by local graziers. * The following is a range of prices: 4 and 5-year bullocks, to £18; fat P.A. cows, £l4 to £l4 12s; fat Jersey cows and heifers, to £l4 12s 6d; good 2year P.A. empty heifers, to £l.O 12s;
; c.'lf P.A. cows (low condition), to £7; in-calf P.A. and Hereford 2-yoar heifers. £8 to £ll 2s 6d; weaner Jersev heifers, to £7 7s 6d.
