Solution Of Berlin Deadlock May Be For All To Withdraw
BERLIN. Oct. 28 (Rcc. Bpm).-The British Military Governor in Germany, General Sir Brian Robertson, today expressed his “personal opinion” that the withdrawal of all occupying forces might be the only solution to the East-West deadlock over Germany but he declared that it would be dangerous to withdraw from Germany “if there was any question of the peace of Europe not being secure.” “It might be a good solution for the Germans to run their own affairs, but first we must see that they really are able to do so and would not fall a victim to some small minority,” he said.
