Two Immigrants For Wanganui Arrive On Rangitiki
PARLIAMENT BLDGS,, Last Night (OC).—Since the immigration scheme began Wanganui has received a total of 17 people, most of them being placed in industry within the city. This figure compares with 16 for Palmerston North, and 25 for Invercargill district.
The latest arrivals for Wanganui number two—one an electric welder, the other a domestic for the Friends’ School. In the latter case hers was a “nominated passage.” Both immigrants arrived in Wellington today in the Rangitiki,
