“Tokio Rose” Faces Charges Of Treason
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 8.--A Federal Grand Jury has indicted “Tokio Rose,” the American-born Mrs. Iva Toguri Danuino, on eight counts of treason She is charged with being one of six women who broadcast over Tokio radio during the war with the object of inducing war weariness and unrest among the Allied troops. She is Ihe only one who was an American citizen.
