London, Aug. 16 When the secretary of the Jersey Communist Party began to address a meeting with the word “comrades” he was pelted with tomatoes, Seaweed and gravel. A crowd armed with horsewhips and water pistols chased him and other Communists, who sought refuse at the police station, and the police used batons to keep the crowd back. Windows were' smashed and other damage done at the local Communist headquarters
