(P.A.) Auckland, June 28 Pending the outcome of an appeal by Dr. H. G. Rix against, his disqualification from membership of the Wellington Hospital Board Dr. F. Russell Chisholm, a memoer of the Auckland Hospital Board, is taking no part in meetings of the board Moving that Dr. Chisholm’s ppology for absence be sustained at a meeting ing the board tonight, the chairman. Mr. J. Grierson, said the board’s solicitors had advised that he should not take part In meetings in the meantime.

Dr. Rix was ruled ineligible fo> membership of the Wellington Board by the Auditor-General, because he was engaged, by the board on the part-time staff. The disqualification was upheld by Mr. Justice Fair and Dr. Rix’s appeal to the Court of Appeal was heard on Friday, when a decision was deterred. Dr. Chisholm is an assistant visiting physician at the Auckland Hospital.
