Ballantyne Fire Inquiry
LAST WITNESS WILL BE HEARD TODAY (P.A.) Christchurch, June 9. When the Royal Commission which is inquiring into the cause and implications of the fire in Ballantyne’s buildings, Christchurch, which occurred in November last, resumes its hearing tomorrow it will hear the final witness, an electrical engineer, and copies of the correspondence beteween Ballantyne’s and the Automatin Fire Alarm Company will be handed in. The Commission will then adjourn until Tuesday, when addresses by counsel will be given.
