Rain Worth Millions Welcomed In N.S.W.
Recd. 7 p.m. Sydney, June 8 Bountiful rain now falling over most of the New South Wales wheat, sheep and dairying districts is the first since the middle of May. The chief agronomist, Mr H. Bartlett, says that the rain at this time is worth millions ot pounds, and that only an average rainfall is now needed to ensure another splendid harvest. Early easing of milk rationing in Sydney is forecast.
