Former Member Of N.Z. Air Staff To Command R.A.F. Fighter Group
(Special N.Z.P.A. Correspondent) Recd. 7.30 p.m. London, June 8. Air Vice-Marshal S. F. Vincent, who, during 1942 was deputy-Chief of the Air Staff in the R.N.Z.A.F, has been appointed Air Officer Commanding No. 11 Group of FighteiCommand. He is probably the only ■pilot who shot down enemy aircraft while flying a single-seater fighter m the two world wars.
