Community Sponsored Group Migration Move By Australian R.S.A.
Recd. 7.15 p.m. Melbourne, June 8 The first community-sponsored group migration move in Australia comes from the Victorian branch ot the Returned Servicemen's League, which will guarantee employment and accommodation for 400 British ex-servicemen. The men will migrate under the Commonwealth assisted passage scheme. Each sub-branch of the association has been asked to nominate a single man, but the president thinks that more than one per isub-branch will be likely to be nominated later, and that families will be included. Selection will be In the hands of the British Empire Services League.
