RUSSIA BARGAINING. Bangkok, June 6. Russia is making a strong bid for trade with Siam. Mr. Arinitechev, a Soviet trade representative who is now in Bangkok, is negotiating for the purchase of Siamese tin, rubber, and other products. Russia has offered to import unlimited quantities of rubber, tin. and coconut oil, and Is pre «ired to pay for them in sterling or united States dollars, or to barter them for Soviet newsprint, coal, or other commodities. Russia is reported to be importing considerable quantities oi wolfrom (tungsten ore) from Siam through Chinese dealers in Hongkong.
