Canadian Tour
MISS NEW ZEALAND Details of “Miss New Zealand’s” Canadian tour were announced on Friday by Mr. G. C. Sherwood, president of tne Wellington branch of the Royal Society of St. George. Leaving New York about August 14, Miss Wootton wi.l fly to Montreal, where she will be the guest of the St. George s Society of Montreal. Here, too, she will meet executives of the Canadian Pacific Railway, which company is providing her with transportation across the continent. Next stop will be at Toronto, where the St. George's Society of Toronto will be her host. At Port McNicoll she will board the palatial steamer Assiniboia for the journey across the Great Lakes, resuming the railway journey at Fort Wil iam. After an overnight stop at Winnipeg, she will go on to Banff and Lake' Louise, world-famous scenic resorts of the Canadian Rockies. Vancouver will be reached about a fortnight after leaving New York for the flight to San Francisco. After a brief visit to Hollywood she will return by air io New Zealand.
