Inspector F. Forsyth, formerly of Rotorua, has taken charge of the Wanganui police district. He succeeds Superintendent L. R. Capp, who has been transferred to Hamilton. Sergeant A. Carlyon has arrived at Wanganui on transfer from Auckland, and has taken over his new duties at Central Police Station. Me succeeded Senior-Sergeant M. E. Parker, transferred last week to Mt. Cook, Wellington. Captain R. S. Lewis, Marine Superintendent of the Shaw Savill and Albion Company for the North Island, with headquarters at Auckland, completes 50 years of service with the line tomorrow.
