No Definite Date Yet For Opening Of Chateau Tongariro
(P.A.) Auckland, May 25. No definite date for the re-opening either of Chateau Tongariro or the Wairakei Hotel could yet be given, said Mr. L. J. Schmitt, general manager of the Tourist Department, in a telephone interview from the Chateau. Taking difficulties into consideration, however, good progress was being made, and it might be possible to open the Chateau in about three months.
