CROWN PROSECUTOR’S ALL-DAY ADDRESS IN A MURDER RE-TRIAL

(P.A.) Dunedin, May 7. In his, address to the jury, which occupied the whole of the day in the Supreme Court, the Crown Prosecutor (Mr. F. B. Adams) traversed much of the evidence which had been offered by 48 Crown witnesses in the retrial of Phyllis Freeman, on a charge of murder. He will continue his address in the morning. Freeman, aged 33, is charged with the murder of Mrs. Joyce Maysie Morrison, on October 3, 1942.
