A membership of 172 was reported at the annual meeting of the Wanganui Philatelic Society. Of this total 91 are country members and town 81. The election of officers resulted Patron, Mr, J. Currie; president, Mr. H. E. Blight; Messrs S. Smith, P. Carmichael and Miss I. Johnson; honorary secretary, Mr. N. A. Giddings; assistant secretary, Mr. A. C. Barnes; exchange superintendent, Mr. M. G. Smart; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. G. Macneli; committee, Messrs G. Miller, W. Smith, C. Foote and L. Row.
