B. M. Silk Playing Good Golf Does Rounds Of 66, And 68

Playing fn a friendly match on the Wanganui Golf Club’s course at Belmont yesterday, B. M. Silk, New Zealand amateur champion, did a 68. On the previous weekena he did two rounds of ,66 each, his best score for the coursei He is reported to be playing his best golf for many years, and now plays on a handicap of plus 2. In a bogey competition at Belmont on Saturday, Dr. U. G. Williams, w»io is on a handicap of 1, completed the 18 holes with a gross score of 69 to win the competition 6-up on bogey.
