DISPLACED FOREIGNERS IN BRITAIN ARE TO BE TAUGHT ENGLISH.
London, Jan. 27. Thirty thousand displaced persons of 14 different European nationalities are to be taught English before they commence work in Britain. Tests, including basic English, are at present being carried out in order to ascertain the most satisfactory method of rapid tuition Sevan hundred foreign workers of varying nationalities already are engaged upon a two months' course in basic English.
