INFANTILE PARALYSIS
MORE CASES IN AUCKLAND PROVINCE (P.A.) Auckland, Jan. 27 Two more positive cases of infantile paralysis were reported in the central Auckland district today. The patients, who were admitted to the Auckland Hospital last week as suspects, are a young woman and a child. They bring the Auckland total of positive cases since the middle of November up to 100. Four more suspect cases, two adults and two children, were admitted to the Auckland Hospital today. . . One new positive case was reported from the south Auckland district today. The patient is a man of 23. Two suspects in the Waikato Hospital have been diagnosed as negative. A further positive case in a the Auckland province is reported in “ the Thames-Tauranga district. The patient is a child.
