Mr. Lionel Speakman, who recently retired from the position of General Manager of Dalgety and Co., Ltd., has accepted a seat on the board of directors of the company. Mr. S. L. Cummane, traffic inspector at the Wanganui Railway Station, has been transferred to Wairoa on promotion as stationmaster. Mr. Cummane will leave today to take up his new position. Mr. L. S. Barsanti, architect to the Wanganui Education Board, has received notification of his appointment as an associate member of the Incorporated Association of Architects and Surveyors, London. Mr. Barsanti was congratulated on his appointment at yesterday’s meeting of the board.
