Moscow Paper On Ernest Bevin’s “American Masters”
Recd. 7.20 p.m. London, Jan. 26. “Pravda,” commenting on Ernest Bevin’s “Western Union” speech on January 22 said: “After the splitting at Germany the Imperialists are now passing to the splitting of Europe.. Bevin has expounded a plan of splitting Europe into opposing blocks, and to please his American masters he went so far as to address open threats to the democratic Balkan countries.” “Pravda” continued that it was noteworthy that the Western Bloc was called upon to “facilitate the exploitation of the colonial people’s of Africa and Asia.”
