The benelicial rain last week stimulated growth everywhere, states the N.Z. armers’ Co-op. Organisation Society in a review of the past week’s stock market. The store lamb market has shown an even further hardening tendency on opening rates. The decline in dairy production has been arrested and. in many cases, a slight recovery has been reported. Keen interest will be taken in the forthcoming series of ewe fairs to be held throughout the province and sales to date by private treaty point to more than firm values ruling at all fixtures.
