Man Found Injured Probably Had Been Engaged In Fight
(P.A.) Wellington, Dec. 29 From the evidence available it would appear that Francis Philip Minogue, who was found on Christmas Eve in a lane beside the Opera House, suffering from head injuries, and who died later in hospital, was engaged in a fight, stated Senior-De-tective Compton today. He said that after the fight Minogue was carried across to the lane beside the Opera House, where he was found. The police believe the fight took place between 7 p.m. and 7.15 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
