RETURN TO N.Z. OF NOTED MATHEMATICIAN
(P.A.) Wellington, Dec. 29. Among the passengers who arrived by th-- Rimutaka to-day was Dr. L. J. Comrie, a New Zealander, who went to Britain 30 years ago and is wellknown there for achievements as a mathematician. The firm of which Dr. Comrie is head, played an important part in plotting aerial attacks an German targets during the war. Dr. Comrie is making a combined business and pleasure visit to New Zealand.
