Duchess of Kent at Wireless Factory. —The Duchess of Kent recently visited Southend-on-Sea and opened the extension of a hospital of which she laid the foundation stone nine years ago. The Duchess took the opportunity of visiting some factories and is seen wearing a pair of workman’s leather gloves prior to making a wireless plastic casing on the power machine in a wireless factory.
