Bulls Bridge Ready in From Six to Eight Months’ Time
That supplies c,f steel for the new bridge across the Rangitikei River at Bulls were in sight, although they were coming along slowly, was a statement made by the Minister ot Works (Mr. Semple) in replying to Mr. E. B. K. Gordon, M.P. for Rangit:kei, in the House of Representatives.
The Minister said that it. would be another six to eight months before the bridge was ready for service.
In answer to another question by Mr. Gordon, the Minister said that the delay in the construction of the Lake Alice institution was due to the shortage of cement and other building materials.
