Rings and Watches Worth More Than £1200 Stolen
rp.A.) Christchurch, Oct. 2 Diamond rings and wristlet watches worth more than £l2OO were stolen on Wednesday evening from the warehouse of D. M. Bain and Sons, Madras Street. Nearly £lOO in cash was also stolen. The robbery, which was discovered this morning. is believed to have taken place between 5.3 G p.m. on Wednesday and 9 a m. today.
